Soldering iron with a thyristor power regulator built into the handle.
There is no temperature sensor, and, accordingly, there is no regulator feedback, therefore this regulator does not is a thermostat. However, the ability to adjust the power allows you to control the temperature of the tip, to avoid overheating, thereby maintaining the required temperature regime for soldering. Power limitation also helps to extend the life of the heater and tip, reducing the burnout of the protective chrome coating.
The main advantage of the soldering iron is the compatibility of the design of the heating element and the tip (tip) with the design of soldering irons used in the most popular soldering stations. These are the 900M series blades, or as they are also called in another way - the HAKKO blades.
It is the prevalence of these soldering tips that is an indisputable advantage. You can always purchase a tip of the required configuration, and for those who have a soldering station with an already formed set of tips, this soldering iron will be a good addition to the station when soldering work away from the workplace.
As in soldering stations, the procedure for changing the soldering iron tip takes a few seconds.
900M tips - chrome plated, durable, factory-tinned tip. The chrome-plated tips do not require sharpening, and, if the rules of operation are observed, they have a long service life.
The ergonomic handle gives comfort in work.
Initially, in the factory, the soldering iron has a conical tip with a tip with a diameter of 0.8 mm (i.e. a cone of 0.8 mm).

Due to the high dynamics of heating, it is not recommended to operate the soldering iron with the maximum temperature of the heater, i.e. in the extreme right position of the voltage regulator knob, especially when a small mass (thin) tip is installed. This will avoid overheating of the soldering iron, thereby ensuring high-quality soldering, a long service life of the tip and heater.
The warranty period for the soldering iron with a regulator is 1 month from the date of sale. The tip and heating element of the soldering iron are consumable items and are not covered by the warranty.
